The Name 'Bantik'
Bantik is one of the tribes in North Sulawesi whose language called 'bahiga Mbantik' is near extinct due to its younger generation is hardly using the language and prefer Manado Dialect and Bahasa Indonesia to communicate to each other while the language is one of the least documented among all the languages & dialects spoken in North sulawesi.
There are 9 villages in North Sulawesi known as Bantik villages and one of them is called Buha, a small village where I grew up, located ± 7 km in the suburb, north of Manado City.
I'm using the name Bantik as a dedication to this small near-extinct-tribe in which I'm part of it.

It all started from my massive curiousity to computer since I first saw one. Well, you know, grew up in a small village where even coloured television used to be rare, makes computer as a big thing for me. Since then, I started to learn computer and got hooked on to photoshop and by the time internet became popular in Manado, I got hooked on too until I finally managed to weave my photohop-maiden graphic with html and yeah... I did my first web design about 2 years ago, thanks to Peter Blumtritt who's been my excellent mentor .
